Some of you may not know this but it’s là Twitter na Gàidhlig (Gaelic Twitter Day)!  Be sure to take some time to tweet a few Gàidhlig words or phrases using the #Gàidhlig hashtag.  Here are a few phrases that might be useful:

Ciamar a tha u? /kimmer a ha u/ how are you?

Taing dhut! /tang ghooht/ Thanks

Madainn mhath dhut /MAtain va ghooht/ Good morning to you

oidhche mhath leat! /Uiche va let/ (a) good night (be) with you!

Glé mhath! /glay va/ very good!

Togaidh tu Gàidhlig! /toki tu gaalick/ you’ll “lift” (learn) Scottish Gaelic!
